MaLea's economic day at school
MaLea has been learning about economics in school. Today was business day for the 1st grade. She had to come up with something to sell, we had to make sign's, and name her business. We came up with MaLea's Trinkets, she sold necklaces, prism scopes, whistles, and flying propellers. MaLea had a lot of fun, but I found she would rather spend money than make money, hopefully that changes before she becomes an adult.....Tuesday, March 24, 2009
Maylen's 7 Month's
This is Maylen's 7 month picture, although it was taken a little late because she was sick. She actually just turned 8 months, so those pictures will be coming soon. I think she has finally decided that pictures aren't that bad, and its OK to smile. Maylen is a happy little one, she is rolling all over the place, and getting up on her hands and knees. She hasn't really started crawling, but I'm sure it will happen before long. She is still getting used to the new tastes and textures of baby food and at times acts as if we are poisoning her. Maylen just really prefers her bottle.A day of shopping
After going to a Bridal shower in S.L.C. on March 21, 2009 we (me, Mikiya, Maylen, Grandma M., Aunt Misty, and Misty's mom Lisa) decided to go shopping at the Gateway. Maylen was such a good little shopper, she sat in her stroller looking around and smiling at everyone. I think she has found her new hobby. Mark says when she gets older she will be asking for a credit card instead of a cell phone.Maylen likes sunglasses

Darron and the girl's.
Mikiya and MaLea haven't seen their dad for a long time. On Wednesday March 18, 2009, they got to see him and spend some time with him. We went and got ice cream and went to the park to play, and then went shopping (what the girl's love to do). Maylen was a good sport, she was happy and just just taking it all in.Lisa and girl's

Maylen's first ear infection

Maylen has her first ear infection, although you would never know it other than she hasn't been sleeping through the night like she usually does. This picture was taken the same day. We took her to the doctor on Feb. 13, 2009 her left ear was bad and the right ear was just a little red, so she was started on antibiotics. She weighed 17 lbs. 12 oz.

Maylen's 6 Months
Maylen is 6 months old! We finally got the smile we have been trying to get every month when we have her picture taken. This time we only had to do one sitting. Maylen is rolling over from front to back and back to front. She will lay on her back and scoot herself around on the floor, so once again she has lost the hair on the back of her head. She has gotten really noisy squealing and cooing, I guess she does have 2 sisters to compete with. Maylen has started eating cereal and baby food, she loves her cereal, so far she likes peas, green beans and squash. Carrots are not her favorite. She loves to jump and loves her johnny jumper and her exersaucer she got for Christmas from Grandma and Grandpa M.
